These terms govern your use of the B2B Data Scouts website and any data products or services you purchase from us. By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these terms.

B2B Data Scouts is a trading name of Transport Quote Compare Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15704673, registered office 786a Coventry Road, Small Heath, Birmingham, England, B10 0TX. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Transport Quote Compare Ltd.

1. Our Services

We provide business-to-business data products including verified lead lists, signal-based data subscriptions, and related services. All data is sourced from publicly available UK records including government registers, regulatory filings, and open data sources.

Free sample data is supplied on these same terms, including the acceptable use restrictions in section 2. Samples are limited to one per organisation unless we agree otherwise.

2. Acceptable Use

When you purchase data from us, you agree to:

We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services if you breach these terms.

3. Data Accuracy

We take reasonable steps to verify the accuracy of our data, including cross-referencing multiple public sources and running email verification checks before delivery.

We guarantee a minimum 98% accuracy rate on verified lead lists: at least 98% of delivered records will be real, active businesses matching your brief, with the contact details verified at the point of supply. If verified accuracy falls below 98%, we will replace the inaccurate records free of charge. To claim, notify us within 14 days of delivery with evidence (for example, bounce reports). Free replacement is your sole remedy for inaccuracy.

However, business data changes constantly. Companies close, people move roles, and contact details change. We do not guarantee that every record will be accurate at the time you use it, and we cannot be held responsible for changes that occur after delivery.

4. Data Protection

Where our data names an individual it is personal data under the UK GDPR, and we treat it as such. We supply data to you as an independent controller: we are not your processor, you are not ours, and we are not joint controllers. Each of us is separately accountable for our own processing.

Our sources, lawful basis, pre-supply checks, and the obligations that pass to you on delivery are set out in full in our data sourcing and compliance statement, which forms part of these terms. Our data is not consented or opt-in data, and you must not describe it that way.

If an individual objects to us, we suppress them across every brand we operate and will notify you so that you can do the same.

5. Payment and Delivery

6. Subscriptions

Subscription feeds renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time by emailing us before the renewal date; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund part-periods.

Our feeds are built from third-party public sources. If a source changes its format, restricts access, or is withdrawn, we may have to change or discontinue a feed. Where that materially reduces what a feed delivers, we will tell you and refund the unused part of your current period.

7. Refunds

Because our products are delivered digitally, we do not offer refunds once data has been delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If data accuracy falls below our 98% guarantee, we will provide replacement records as described in section 3 above. We do not offer a refund in place of replacement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, design, code, branding) is owned by Transport Quote Compare Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our website content without permission.

When you purchase data from us, you receive a licence to use that data for your own business purposes. You do not acquire ownership of the data itself.

10. Website Use

Our website is provided "as is." We aim to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or remove content at any time without notice.

Blog posts and guides on our website are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
