B2B Data Scouts ("we", "us", "our") is a trading name of TQC, registered in England. This policy sets out how this website is and is not promoted, how we run business-to-business outreach, and how to opt out or report a problem. It applies to us, to anyone acting on our behalf, and to any customer using data we supply.

1. This Website Is Not Advertised In Unsolicited Bulk Email

We do not promote b2bdatascout.co.uk, or any other domain we operate, by sending unsolicited bulk email.

If you receive an unsolicited bulk message that links to this website, it did not come from us and we want to know about it. Please forward it with full headers to the abuse address in section 6.

2. How We Do Contact Businesses

We are a business-to-business company and we do send outreach email. We are open about that, and we hold it to the following rules.

We rely on the position for corporate subscribers under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 and on legitimate interests under UK GDPR. Both depend on us honouring objections promptly, which section 4 covers.

3. What We Never Do

4. Opting Out And Suppression

To stop hearing from us, reply to any message with "unsubscribe" or write to hello@b2bdatascout.co.uk. No reason is needed.

We action opt-outs within three working days and normally the same day. Suppression is permanent and applies across every campaign, brand, and sending domain we operate, not just the one that contacted you. We keep the minimum record needed to enforce that suppression, which is the address itself, and we do not use it for anything else.

You can also ask us to delete any data we hold about you or your organisation. See our Privacy Policy for how to exercise that and other rights.

5. Rules For Customers Using Our Data

Data we supply is licensed for lawful business-to-business use. Customers must not use it to send unsolicited bulk email to consumers, must identify themselves in any outreach, must offer a working opt-out, and must honour opt-outs promptly. Customers must comply with PECR, UK GDPR, and the equivalent rules in the recipient's country.

We withdraw access, without refund, from any customer we find using our data to send spam.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you believe you have received spam from us, or mail that misuses our name or data, tell us:

We investigate every report and reply with what we found and what we changed. Reports about a sender who is not us are still useful, because mail that forges our name damages us too.

7. Enforcement

Breach of this policy by a member of staff, a contractor, or a customer results in the sending being stopped and access being withdrawn. We treat a confirmed spam complaint as a serious incident, not a cost of doing business.

8. Changes

We update this policy as our practice changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.

9. Contact
